Aerobic exercises will help you burn calories when it is used in conjunction with a diet. You should not only cut down on the amount of calories that you are eating, but you should do aerobic exercises to help burn up the extra calories that have been stored as fat in your body. 

People sometimes think that aerobic exercises are limited to taking part in aerobic classes at a gym, but there are other ways you can exercise without paying a great deal of money from an expensive gym. If you want to speed up your weight loss by adding some exercise then you should consider doing the following exercises.  

1.      Running: This is the top rated form of any aerobic exercises. It does not requite any special equipment and you can easily burn up to about three hundred calories in a good thirty minute run.

2.      Cross-country skiing: This aerobic exercise can be done both indoors and out. There are exercise machines that allow you to ski inside your house or you can opt for the real thing and buy or rent a pair of skis and get outside and do some skiing.

3.      Bicycling: Out of all aerobic exercises, bicycling is a great way to lose some of those unwanted pounds. Depending on the intensity of the exercise and the resistance, you can burn up to five hundred calories in a thirty-minute workout. 

Lengthy aerobic exercises are fine a few days a week. However, you should not do lengthy workouts unless you are following a balanced diet.
