i hate veggies ! lol. & thank you for the water tip, i am going to try this too !

@yazmin32487 I’m practicing! :D hehe thank you

@antishay omg your spanish is amazing:)

@antishay Si, hace mucho sentido, gracias por aclarar eso.

@Yomalex3 Uso caloriecount.about(.com).

Cuento las calorías de cada ingrediente y luego divido el total de cada receta en cuartos o sextos (o simplemente un medio - en función del tamaño) y luego divido las calorías en forma pareja:) ¿tiene sentido? :)

I really like your Videos - and this time i’m so… totaly… i don’t know what to say ;o]

The things you talked about, like drinking more - especially in the morning: the first thing i do - and workout 30 minutes a day [no matter what] are my ‘construction fields’ at the moment.

I found out, that healthy nutrition and balanced diet is not enough. Sport is very important for physical and mental health - we have just to do what’s good for us :o]

Oiga una pregunta, como cuentas las calorias en las cosas que cocinas? O sea de ejemplo, como sabes cuantas calorias tiene una libra de carne molida? O como sabes cuantas calorias tiene una taza de arroz?

I really enjoyed this video, I loved your magazine cut out art that you made for Cory, what a creative idea,also the magazine article, exercise has a lot of benefits, I know there are times that I don’t do it at all, and there are times when I keep it up for months at a time and I admit I feel a hundred times better physically and mentally!! Thanks for such an informative talk, love your videos, you inspire Wayne and I both. See you soon!!!

Hey Shanti, I want to say that i love your videos and i can not wait for the next. you are such an inspiration for me and without you i had never started to lose weight or do exercises.I’m sorry for my bad english, i’m from germany! That’s the reason why i can’t discribe how thankful i am for your videos. I don’t understand a lot of thinkgs you tell because you speak sooo fast, but i try.sometimes i watch 1 Video 3 times to understand everything.lol. I’m looking forward to your next video!!!!

The heaviest I have ever been I had to weigh myself on a mailbag scale. I weighed in at 480 lbs. I was starting to have leg circulation problems. I went on a water fast for three days, and then practiced Veganism for two years. Also, lost my job and house after 911 and became homeless for two years as well. I got myself down to 270 lbs, but now I am back up to 300lbs…I got some work to do yet. I collage art was really cool!

@antishay very unfortunate. :/

@gettinghealthyon Awesome! I should try leaving it by my bed :P You sound like you’re doing great :)

@Brittnoiserz I already threw away the whole article :( I forget what I read it was.

You mentioned drinking water first thing in the AM maybe over a year ago — I started doing then and it’s awesome! I leave a big glass by my bed so when I wake up, I can gulp it down. I find room temp. to be the easiest. As a result, I also got in the habit of chugging down water all day. I’m a terrible sipper and find gulping large quantities more effective.

Keep up the hard work. I put on 10lbs this year from knee surgery and every day gets easier to get back in the groove. You can do it!

Thanks for sharing the article!

:( so i was down 2 ibs from depression, but this summer gained back 2+ 1 :( stupid stress makes me eat horribley and depression makes me thin… hmmmm i cant win

What sort of intense 30 minute workout is recommended? Sometimes I feel like what i’m doing isn’t intense enough to lose the extra baggage I want to get rid of.

i promise if you work out for two weeks 5 times a week after that you are going to love working out!

This was really insightful. I appreciate your help. Please continue to vlog. We need all the help we can get. I pray to God that he continue to inspire you, so that you may inspire us. Thanks,

Thank you so much for this vid, this is exactly the kind of motivation I needed! That article about that pill really got me, I want to exercise right NOW :D

I always look forward to your new vids! :) You continue to be a source of inspiration! :)

I actually stopped watching your videos a long time ago… But.. after seeing this I see your alive and back again,.. I don’t understand why I stopped watching your videos but again I’m inspired to work out with you again. :-) So like you I gained weight again. Lol and like you I’m losing again hahah. Damn this world and all the stress and stuff XD

@valine0 This is an infallible way:

1) eat less

2) excercise more

Simple like this!

I hear you about forcing yourself to work out. I always enjoy it once I start, it’s just the starting part. I gained a ‘pound’ today =/

Hey shanti, dunno if ur familiar with “burst training”.. takes about 10-12 mins of ur time every other day. It allows ur body to burn fat for at least 36-48 hrs after the exercise. Check it out if u can.. Really helped me a lot when it came to preparing my body for the p90x program.. Great post btw! =)
